Ukraine's GDP 2.7% down in Q4, 2012, 0.2% up in 2012, says Statistics Service
Ukraine's GDP in the fourth quarter of 2012 dropped by 2.7% compared to the fourth quarter of 2011, whereas in the third quarter it decreased by 1.2%, according to data from the State Statistics Service.
According to the service, given the GDP growth in the first and second quarters by 2% and 3% respectively, the country's economy for 2012 grew by 0.2%.
Nominal GDP last year was UAH 1.4 trillion.
The State Statistics Service also said that compared to the third quarter of 2012, given seasonal factors, GDP in the fourth quarter decreased by 0.9%
