Azarov: State economy development program for 2013-2014 to be approved next week
A state program on stirring up the development of the economy for 2013-2014 will be approved next week, Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has said.
"The next consideration of this program has been scheduled for Thursday, and I suppose we'll approve it next week," he said delivering a speech at a sitting of the Council of Entrepreneurs in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said that for the first time such program includes actual sources of financing, in particular, bank credits, warranties of the state, budget direct investments.
Talking about state of economy in general, Azarov said that 2012 had been rather difficult for the country, in particular, because of expensive energy sources. This problem remains in 2013.
"For our country 2012 was rather difficult. It was characterized by high gas prices. The pressure that our economy feels because of high prices for energy is very serious," the premier said.
