Viktor Yanukovych Jr. becomes acting president of Automobile Federation of Ukraine
Member of the Party of Regions' parliamentary faction Viktor Yanukovych, the youngest son of Ukraine's president, has become the acting president of the Automobile Federation of Ukraine (AFU) after Bohdan Novytsky resigned from this office.
Novytsky left the post of the president of the Automobile Federation of Ukraine and First Vice-President of the Federation Viktor Yanukovych will perform his duties, according to a report posted on the official Web site of the organization.
Automobile racer Novytsky had headed the Automobile Federation of Ukraine since December 26, 2011. Earlier, the federation was lead by Yevhen Chervonenko.
The Automobile Federation of Ukraine is a non-governmental organization, which was founded on July 2, 1992. It brings together car enthusiast, racers and other fans in all regions of Ukraine.
