Convention between Ukraine, Mexico on avoiding double taxation comes into force
A convention between the governments of Ukraine and Mexico to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion regarding income taxes and property taxes came into force on January 1, 2013, the press service of the State Tax Service reported.
According to the document, entrepreneurs of Ukraine and Mexico will not have to pay taxes on income received in the territory of the other country twice.
Entrepreneurs obtaining income in one of the two states will pay taxes according to the tax laws of that state.
According to experts of the Tax Service, the convention will also regulate the legal framework for the exchange of information between the two countries.
