NATO to support Ukraine's reforms despite its non-aligned status
NATO will keep helping Ukraine implement reforms, despite its non-aligned status, Marcin Koziel, Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine, has said.
"We respect Ukraine's non-aligned choice, [made] as the sovereign choice of a sovereign state. But we would like to keep supporting Ukraine in its reform implementation and democratization process," he said during a discussion entitled "The National Security of Ukraine in the Context of Recent Changes in Foreign and Domestic Policy" in Kyiv on Monday.
According to the official, NATO will support Ukraine's civil society and help the government to implement reforms.
