Ukraine, India have strong unused potential for cooperation in various spheres, says Yanukovych

"The new format of interaction will contribute to further economic stability and the versatile development of cooperation between Ukraine and India," Yanukovych told journalists after a meeting with Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Monday.
The president said the countries have "strong unused potential in various spheres." According to him, the spheres of energy, metallurgy, chemical industry, car building, and the hotel business are the most promising directions for cooperation between Ukraine and India.
Yanukovych also invited the Indian premier to make an official visit to Ukraine at any time.
According to the Ukrainian president, the sides decided to announce 2013 a year of Indian culture in Ukraine, and 2014 a year of Ukrainian culture in India.
The president of Ukraine will be on a state visit to India on December 9-12.
