Ukraine needs to resume cooperation with IMF in full, says economy minister
The Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that one of the priorities of Ukraine's economic policy in 2013 will be the full restoration of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
"Agreeing the issue of budget deficits, macroeconomic indicators, and the feasibility of the budget is one of the key elements of this cooperation," he said during the Kyiv Post Tiger Conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to Poroshenko, Ukraine's economic policy without cooperation with the IMF would be risky and ineffective.
