Cabinet approves plan of events for national manufacturing development program, Poroshenko says
The Ukraine's government has approved a plan of events to implement the program for the development of national manufacturing, Economic Development and Trade Minister Petro Poroshenko has reported.
"The plan foresees a whole range of steps that today will protect national commodity producers," he said at the press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
According to the minister, two areas have been worked out in the plan: a program for import substitution, and a scheme for the protection of the national market using the various tools that are at the disposal of the government.
According to Poroshenko, the Cabinet of Ministers has foreseen measures to support the enterprises of the chemical, rocket and space branches, and the aerospace industry.
He also said the elaborated measures would promote the development of the national industry.
