Ukraine ups output of milk, meat, eggs in Jan-Sept 2012
Ukraine produced 2.6% more milk year-on-year in January-September 2012, at 8.95 million tonnes, the State Statistics Service has reported.
Egg production increased by 1.8%, to 14.7 billion eggs.
Meat production was up by 1.2%, at 2.14 million tonnes.
Ukraine increased meat production 3.5% in 2011, to three million tonnes (in live weight), egg output increased 9.6%, to 18.7 billion eggs, while milk output dropped 1.4%, to 11.1 million tonnes.
