Gas situation in Ukraine not as critical as it could have been after Russian attacks – Naftogaz supervisory board member
The gas situation in Ukraine is not as critical as might have been expected in the wake of the massive Russian attacks, according to Nataliya Boyko, a member of the supervisory board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy.
"In my understanding, the gas situation is not as dire as it could have been. And that is thanks to the joint work of our team, the government and our international partners," Boyko said during a special session on the situation in Ukraine's power system at the Kyiv Security Forum on Monday.
Boyko added that all efforts are focused both on repairing equipment after the attacks and on securing imported gas supplies.
