Energy infrastructure in Odesa damaged by enemy attacks, emergency power outages implemented – authorities
Odesa's energy infrastructure sustained damage following enemy attacks on Monday, with private homes and a business center also affected. In response, emergency power outages have been implemented in parts of the city, according to Odesa Regional Governor Oleh Kiper.
"The enemy has once again launched a massive drone attack on peaceful Odesa. As a result, the city's energy infrastructure has been damaged. Currently, emergency power outages are in effect in some areas," Kiper wrote on Telegram.
He noted that municipal services have already begun deploying generators to maintain critical infrastructure operations, including heating facilities. Additional help stations are being set up, with 425 already in operation.
Debris from the attacks and blast waves also damaged two private homes and a business center.
Emergency response teams are working to address the aftermath of the attack, while law enforcement agencies continue to document another Russian war crime against the civilian population of Odesa region.
