Shmyhal: We will pay special attention to development of Ukraine-Europe's Gas Safe concept in 2025
The Ukrainian government intends to pay special attention to the development of the Ukraine - Europe's Gas Safe concept in 2025, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"One of the biggest challenges for this year remains energy. Two key tasks for this year are the restoration and protection of energy facilities. At the same time, we will continue to develop distributed generation and infrastructure so that it is possible to import more electricity from Europe," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
The prime minister recalled that the Ukrainian gas transportation system now operates without the transit of Russian gas and it is important to implement a new model of its operation already in 2025.
"We will pay special attention to the development of the Ukraine - Europe's Gas Safe concept," he emphasized.
