G7 ambassadors call on Ukrenergo National Assembly to immediately begin selection of new board
The G7 Ambassadors in Ukraine welcome the appointment of a new Supervisory Board of NEC Ukrenergo and consider it necessary for the National Assembly to begin the election of a new chairman of the company's Management Board as soon as possible.
“Board should launch without delay the selection of a new CEO,” the ambassadors said on X Thursday.
In their opinion, this will lead to further international support for Ukraine's energy security against the background of constant brutal attacks from Russia.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by order 1232-r dated December 10, 2024, approved the candidacies of Yuriy Boiko, Anatoliy Huley and Oleksiy Nikitin for the positions of members of the Supervisory Board of NEC Ukrenergo as representatives of the state. Earlier, the government, by order No. 1168-r dated November 26, 2024, agreed on four independent members to the supervisory Board of NEC Ukrenergo.
