Enterprises with damaged infrastructure in areas of active hostilities to have right to debt restructuring – Shmyhal
Enterprises whose infrastructure was destroyed or damaged by the enemy and located in the area of active hostilities will receive the right to debt restructuring, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"The relevant criteria for heat suppliers and water utilities were approved at today's government meeting. We are also prescribing an algorithm for submitting an application for debt restructuring. In this way, we will reduce the debt pressure on critical infrastructure enterprises in frontline areas for the successful passage of the heating season," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel following the government meeting on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister noted that as of today, almost 100% of all facilities - residential buildings, hospitals, schools, kindergartens - are connected to heat, and the problem areas are Kherson, which is suffering under enemy shelling, and Kryvy Rih.
"Active repair and restoration work continues in these cities," he concluded.
