World Bank approves extra funding of $664 mln for INSPIRE project for Ukraine – Shmyhal
The World Bank has approved additional funding of $664 million for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support 29 types of social payments to the most vulnerable segments of Ukraine's population, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"The World Bank today approved $664 million in additional funding for the INSPIRE project to continue financing 29 types of social services for Ukraine's most vulnerable populations. $662 million will come from the Trust Fund to provide Ukraine with the necessary credit support ADVANCEUkraine, supported by the Government of Japan," Shmyhal wrote on the X network on Thursday.
He expressed gratitude to the Japanese government and the World Bank leadership "for their continued support, cooperation and solidarity with Ukrainians."
