Ukraine has received $4.8 billion from the World Bank under the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) Project, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
"This is the largest investment project in the Bank’s history, initiated to support our country in implementing reforms in social and educational sectors, healthcare, agriculture, and reconstruction projects," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
The Prime Minister noted that since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has attracted nearly $50 billion through World Bank mechanisms.
"We are deeply grateful to the United States and our development partners for funding the PEACE project assistance," he concluded.
