Shmyhal: In nine months we exported as much as in the whole of last year
In January-September 2024, Ukrainian exports amounted to 36% more than in the same period in 2023, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"One of the main sources of our financial stability is income from Ukrainian exports. In January-September 2024, Ukrainian exports amounted to about 100 million tonnes. This is 36% more than last year. That is, in the nine months we exported as much as in the whole of last year. In monetary terms, this is $ 28.9 billion," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram following a government meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, this became possible thanks to the functioning of the Black Sea maritime corridor, state support for Ukrainian exporters, and the conscientious work of entrepreneurs in export-oriented sectors of the economy.
