More than UAH 5 bln foreseen in 2025 state budget for agricultural sector - minister
The state budget for 2025 provides more than UAH 5 billion for the agricultural sector, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval reported on Telegram.
According to the report, UAH 4.726 billion will be allocated for payments per hectare and for the maintenance of cows, sheep and goats.
In addition, UAH 200 million is planned for the restoration and construction of melioration systems, UAH 5 million for compensation of social security tax to family farms and UAH 80 million for the provision of preferential interest-free loans to farms.
The state budget provides UAH 1.37 billion for issuing grants, including for gardens and greenhouses, and UAH 1 billion for demining agricultural lands, the minister explained.
