Energy system will function as normal in winter if there is no new critical damage - Energy Minister
Ukraine will go through the winter in a normal power supply mode in the absence of new Russian strikes on the energy sector with serious consequences, predicts Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko.
"If there are no strikes that will critically affect the energy system, we will go through this winter in a normal mode. If they do, then, of course, it is difficult to foresee the impact of such strikes on the system today," the minister said during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
According to him, all assessments of the passage of the heating season that "there will be no power for 18 to 20 hours" are conditional and have nothing to do with reality.
