Two independent members of Ukrenergo supervisory board resign – statement
Daniel Dobbeni and Peder Andreasen, independent members of the supervisory board of the National Energy Company Ukrenergo, have submitted written notifications of their early resignation, according to a statement released by the company on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.
Both members had voted against the early termination of the powers of Ukrenergo's Management Board Chairman Volodymyr Kudrytsky during an extraordinary supervisory board meeting on September 2. However, the other four members supported the decision.
"We strongly believe that the decision on the early dismissal of the CEO of Ukrenergo is politically motivated and, based on the results of the presented report, there are no valid grounds for it," the statement reads.
