Ukraine to spend $3.9 bln provided by USA on pensions, wages for teachers, doctors – PM
Ukraine will spend $3.9 billion, which it has received from the United States, on wages for teachers, doctors, rescuers, social benefits and pensions, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said on Monday.
"These funds will be used to finance priority budget expenditures such as the salaries of teachers, doctors and rescue workers, pensions and social benefits. This year Ukraine will receive $7.8 bn in direct budget support from the United States, which will allow us to confidently pass this financial period," he said on X Social Network.
