Compliance with Special Communications Service demands relies on energy situation – mobile operators
Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, and lifecell mobile communication operators have invested over UAH 3 billion in the energy independence of their networks, significantly increasing the resources for the autonomous operation of networks compared to 2022.
As stated in a joint announcement by the operators on Thursday, compliance with the requirements of the State Special Communications Service and Information Protection to ensure 100% autonomy of mobile communications and the internet for 10 hours during power outages is critically dependent on the energy situation.
