Uzbekistan received a group of Ukrainian children for rest and rehabilitation
A group of Ukrainian children has arrived in Tashkent for rest and rehabilitation at the invitation from Uzbek's side, almost all relevant ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan have been involved in the implementation of the programme, the Uzbek embassy in Ukraine has said.
"The group includes children from the regions of Ukraine affected by military actions - Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv and Kyiv. During 12 days the children will undergo a programme of recovery and psychological support. Each day will be dedicated to a different theme - from the Day of National Traditions to the Day of Sports and Health, with creative competitions and informative excursions", - stated in the message.
The children arrived on the eve of the Kurban Hayit holiday. They were solemnly welcomed at the international airport of Tashkent, after which they went to a health camp in the foothills of the Tien Shan.
