Latvia prepares batch of 1,400 drones for shipment to Ukraine – Defense Minister Spruds
Latvia has prepared another batch of unmanned aerial vehicles for shipment to Ukraine, the country's Defense Minister Andris Spruds said.
"The largest batch of Latvian manufacturers – 1,400 drones - has been prepared for shipment to Ukraine. Thus, the purchases of the Ministry of Defense from the Latvian industry for the supply of more than 2,700 drones to Ukraine have been completed," Spruds wrote on the social network.
He noted that within the framework of the international drone coalition, Latvia has provided Ukraine with a total of 3,000 combat drones of various types and characteristics.
"Together with Latvian companies, we will continue to provide support until Ukraine wins," the minister added.
