Justice Minister of Japan Ryuji Koizumi and his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Maliuska have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of law and justice, the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine said Monday.
"Japanese Minister Koizumi and Minister of Justice of Ukraine Maliuska signed the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of law and justice. Areas of cooperation include anti-corruption efforts, judicial reform and institutional capacity building," it said on X Social Network.
Minister Koizumi assured Maliuska that the Japanese Justice Ministry fully supports Ukraine in the fight against corruption and judicial reform. They also discussed further cooperation within the framework of the Anti-Corruption Working Group for Ukraine.
