Duda awards ex-Ambassador Zvarych for his contribution to development of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation
Polish President Andrzej Duda has awarded former Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Zvarych "For Services to the Republic of Poland" for his contribution to the development of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, the office of the Polish head of state reports.
"President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda awarded His Excellency Vasyl Zvarych the Commander's Cross with the Star of the Order of Merit for the Republic of Poland for his outstanding contribution to the development of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation," the office of the Polish President said on the social network X on Tuesday evening.
On June 21, 2024, by his decrees, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Zvarych from his post and appointed him ambassador to the Czech Republic.
