Yaroslavsky mulls repurchase of FC Metalist
The president of DCH Group, businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, has no intention to hurry in making decision on a possible return of FC Metalist (Kharkiv).
"I thought about this issue, but let's probably wait," Yaroslavsky said at a meeting with the students of Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.
"Because I returned it once, but then it is somehow not very nice for me. Because they ask you to help, then you are again thrown out, and then you have again to go and lift from the knees what was proudly standing on two legs. Let's wait, let them enjoy this collapse and then we'll see," the businessman said.
As reported, Yaroslavsky was the president of FC Metalist in 2005-2012. During this time the football club established a record in Ukraine by five years in a row winning bronze medals in the national championship. The team also participated in the UEFA Europa League.
On September 4, 2015 Yaroslavsky told reporters that he is mulling the possibility of repurchasing FC Metalist.
