KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Leader of the Movement of New Forces party Mikheil Saakashvili has gotten out of a minivan, in which he has been brought following the detention in his house in central Kyiv.

Saakashvili's supporters managed to open the doors of a minivan blocked in Triokhsviatytelska Street, following this, the politician came out of it and walked toward his house in Kostelna Street accompanied by his supporters and journalists, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Law enforcement officers did not chase him down.

Saakashvili has stopped on the footsteps of the St. Alexander Cathedral on the corner of Kostelna and Triokhsviatytelska Streets and is delivering a speech.

He urged the Ukrainians to show a protest and thanked them for their support to him, saying: "Be afraid of nothing."
