Marshall Plan for Ukraine 'already took shape'

Lithuania has carefully prepared for the presentation of the project "New European Plan for Ukraine for 2017-2020" (the so-called Marshall Plan for Ukraine) to other members of the European Union, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has said.

"Surely, the fact that Lithuania by its efforts and by very careful preparation of such a European plan for Ukraine, the so-called Marshall Plan, has laid the groundwork for being able to represent it and be heard by other members of the European Union," she told on the air of Channel 5.

According to her, this plan has already been given specific outlines "with a structure, with an understanding of the mechanisms that should be laid" in order to implement the plan.

At the same time, Klympush-Tsintsadze added: "We must understand that this is only the beginning of the way for this plan to receive real support from all partners that would join the investment plan of EUR 5 billion."
