'Marshall Plan' for Ukraine to last for 10 years, provides $5 bln a year in medium term outlook

The "Marshall Plan" for Ukraine will last for 10 years and envisages the provision of $5 billion a year in the medium term outlook (2018-2020), First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said on Thursday.

"We have approve the priorities for infrastructure projects, energy efficiency, digital economy via the prism of small business," he said at a press briefing after a meeting with former prime minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius devoted to the long-term financial support of reforms in Ukraine.

Kubilius, who is the co-author of the "Marshall Plan" for Ukraine, said at the briefing that if Ukraine receives annual investment of $5 billion its economic growth will be 6-8% of GDP.
