Saakashvili says he joins protesters near Rada, urges opposition leaders to join him

Ex-president of Georgia, leader of the New Forces Movement party Mikheil Saakashvili has said that he intends to move to the tent camp erected in front of the Verkhovna Rada.

"I decided to move to the protesters in front of the Rada," Saakashvili said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

He also called on the opposition leaders, in particular the mayor of Lviv, the leader of the Samopomich party, Andriy Sadovy, and the leader of the Civil Position party, Anatoliy Hrytsenko, to join him.

"I want to call on the opposition leaders - Sadovy, Anatoliy Hrytsenko and all the others - to come to us, come to me," the politician said.
