Ukrainian military reports withdrawal of military equipment on Mariupol track

The Ukrainian Armed Forces on the contact line in Donbas continue fulfilling the second stage of the plan to withdraw weapons, the press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine reported on Tuesday.

"After the withdrawal of tanks on the Debaltseve track, our military continued fulfilling the second stage of the plan to withdraw weapons from the division line," the headquarters said in its report posted on Facebook on Wednesday evening.

The report says no breaches of the Minsk agreements were registered on the contact line on Wednesday.

"Weapons were withdrawn on the Mariupol track and the withdrawal was closely monitored by representatives of the OSCE mission," the press center has reported.

Additionally, the headquarters reported that the rebuilding of Donbas infrastructure continues.

"Today, our sappers have demined the territory in the area of a high voltage electric power line that provides energy to the pump station of the Donbas-Siversky Donetsk water supply line. This water supply line is now not working to full capacity, as a result of which residents of Mariupol, Avdiyivka and other cities of Donbas have problems with water supply. Rebuilding work will begin after the mine clearance work," the headquarters said.
