Hroisman: Ukrainian army won't use force to regain control of crash site of Malaysian jet

The Ukrainian army is not going to use force to retake the area where Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in Donetsk region was downed on July 17, according to Vice Premier Volodymyr Hroisman, who heads the Ukrainian government commission probing the crash of the Malaysian aircraft.

"We won't use military means to regain control of the area where the plane is," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"To monitor the situation we suggest using maybe drones which could carry out technical verification of the crash site. They will verify that the Ukrainian army is not engaged in any activity there," he said.
