Party of Regions calls for commission to find out who seized Kyiv city hall
The deputy head of the Party of Regions faction in parliament, Anatoliy Kinakh, has proposed creating a temporary investigative commission to identify those responsible for the seizure of administrative buildings in Kyiv and the provocation of clashes.
"There is a proposal to set up a temporary commission. Those guilty have to be punished, regardless of political color or rank," he said from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada at a meeting on Tuesday.
He also said: "Recent events - the seizure of administrative buildings and force confrontations - are unacceptable."
Kinakh also proposed organizing a national round table to look for compromises.
As reported, supporters of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union seized the building of Kyiv City State Administration during a protest on Sunday. The demonstrators are currently occupying the building.
