The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has decided to issue a license to supply natural gas to Trafigura Ukraine LLC, a Ukrainian subsidiary of Trafigura global commodity trader.

"I propose to congratulate Trafigura Ukraine as one of the largest global energy commodity traders on receiving the license and getting the possibility of supplying natural gas," NCER Head Dmytro Vovk said at the commission meeting in Kyiv on Thursday.

The commission also issued the similar licenses to 12 more limited liability companies.

As reported, Trafigura Ukraine LLC officially opened its office in Ukraine the middle of May 2017.
