Ukraine's Armed Forces have approved BTR-3 armored vehicles for service, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Ihor Pavlovsky has reported.

According to the press service of the ministry, the manufacturer enterprise has received an advance payment and started implementing the order.

However, 49 deficiencies were revealed during the state tests of Dozor armored vehicles. This vehicle will be accepted for service after the faults are eliminated.

"Now we are preparing a joint decision with Ukroboronprom to remove these faults and sign a contract for the delivery of these vehicles to the Armed Forces. All these issues will be resolved in due course and the Armed Forces will receive a reliable vehicle," Pavlovsky said.
