Dozor, KORD rapid response soldiers attend training courses on conducting night operations

Soldiers of the 10th separate rapid response detachment Dozor of the State Border Service and police officers of the KORD rapid response force, under the leadership of their U.S. colleagues from the Drug Enforcement Administration, improved their skills on conducting special night operations from September 25 to October 20, the press office of the State Border Service has reported.

According to the report, all soldiers who took part in the training successfully passed the exam and received certificates on the completion of the training courses on October 20.

The service said that in order to ensure the conduct of these training exercises, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine had purchased and provided for the State Border Service 30 sets of special equipment, including PVS-14 monocular night vision devices and infrared laser target designators with a total cost of over $135,000.
