Ukraine has sent letters to companies sponsoring the International Olympic Committee about the inadmissibility of admitting Russian athletes to the Olympic Games.

"We are also continuing the diplomatic marathon in order to prevent the Kremlin from using world sports and the Olympic movement for its propaganda. Representatives of a terrorist state have no place at the Olympics and international tournaments. Ukraine has sent corresponding letters to the companies most supporting the International Olympic Committee," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address on Sunday, February 5.

"These are large international companies that are definitely interested in their reputation and support not being used for war propaganda," he said.
