The all-Ukrainian Ideas Festival "The Future of Communities" press conference was on August 9. The Ideas Festival "The Future of Communities" is a great event with all-Ukrainian significance, aimed at the future community development according to the life activity spheres. Initiators and organizers of the festival were the Impact Hub Odessa Social Innovation Center in partnership with the Aspen Institute Kyiv. The organizing committee representatives - Denis Poltavets and Alexandr Slavskyi began a press conference with an introductory part about the event and the festival key goals. At this stage, the organizers took as a basis the international experience in America and decided to implement it in Ukraine with the main task - to establish a cooperation platform between different communities and different influence groups for positive changes in the country's economic, cultural and social life. "The festival advantage is that in a short time you can get acquainted with a very wide range of different thoughts, concepts, ideas that are not yet full projects, but they have convincing initiatives to present them to society," Denis Poltavets said. The organizers promise an intensive program with the introduction of a variety of formats where the festival visitors can be lecturers, participants in discussions and workshops, guests of musical jazz evenings, as well as spiritual practices on the beach. "An informal communication between participants and speakers is one of the most important formats for building communications, where certain intersections and synergies between projects can easily occur," comments one of the of Ideas Fest 2017 speakers, businessman and public figure - Oleg Derevianko The press conference participants opened the curtain about the speakers and told that it is necessary to expect international representatives who will also become the Odessa event integral part. All speakers were selected according to the relevance of ideas, professional competence, as well as the involvement level in their issue. Another one press conference participant, Evgenii Mushkin, the head of the National Economy Achievement Exhibition added about the festival sign for the urban space optimization, which should be submitted for discussion with a large concentration of motivated and ambitious people. The participation in the festival is free, but with pre-registration on the website. We remind that the ideas Festival "The Future of Communities" will be held in Odesa on August 25-27 at six city locations.
