The First Ukrainian Diaspora Business Forum will be held under the slogan "Ukrainians of the World – for Ukraine"
On May 18-19, the First Ukrainian Diaspora Business Forum will be held at the Ukrainian CCI. The organizers, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ukrainian Worldwide Coordination Council, chose May 18th as the opening day with a purpose – it is officially "Vyshyvanka Day" in Ukraine.
Representatives of the government and business of Ukraine and the Diaspora, as well as entrepreneurs and managers of international companies from 13 countries will take part in the event to interact and actively attract the Diaspora into the economic development of Ukraine.
Businessmen of Ukraine and the Diaspora for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine will have a chance to make direct contact and discuss opportunities for cooperation in the following directions: energy saving, informational consulting, IT-technologies, investment-innovation, agriculture, tourism, etc. in the framework of work in profile sections and B2B dialogue. The second day of the Forum will include a separate conference with Representatives of the UCCI abroad (Germany, Italy, Turkey, Spain, the Slovak Republic, Austria).
One of the results of the Forum is expected to be the creation of a Working Group for cooperation with Ukrainians abroad, the activity of which will be coordinated by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the patronage of the Government of Ukraine.
