State agency to start cooperating with three leading audit companies

Kyiv, April 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and National Projects Management has signed a memorandum of cooperation with three leading audit companies.

The document was signed at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.

Chairman of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and National Projects Management, Vladyslav Kaskiv, signed the agreement with Managing Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Boris Krasnyansky, Managing Partner at Ernst & Young Alexei Kredisov and KPMG Managing Partner Floris Shuring.

"Today memorandums between the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and National Projects Management and three out of the four largest global audit companies - PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst&Young and KPMG - will be signed," Kaskiv said before the signing of the documents.

He said that the memos cover the whole range of cooperation under the realization of national projects. He added that this includes the participation of companies in tenders to draw up feasibility studies, regular expert consultations of all types and aid in preparing an international investment conference at the top-level.

The State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and National Projects Management was established in 2005 (before June 2010 it was named the State Agency for Investment and Innovations). The agency's key task is to provide for the realization of strategically important projects aimed at the technological upgrade and development of the basic real economic sectors in Ukraine.
