KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian football does not pay real official salaries and taxes, nongovernmental organization Ukrainian Lustration has said.

Deputy Chairman of NGO Ukrainian Lustration blogger Oleksandr Aronets at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday paid attention to the two court rulings in the unified court ruling register. They concern Football Club (FC) Dynamo. They say that their average monthly salary is UAH 18,000. He believes that this is not in line with their real income. According to information from the tax declarations in one of the rulings, one of the players had almost UAH 6.6 million of income in 2015.

"These examples show the system in the Ukrainian football, when, for example, some money is received officially, and some money - as businessmen or via offshore companies. We as NGO will initiate bills and expand those submitted [to parliament] and take other measures to settle this situation," Aronets said.

He said that it is unfair when the situation in the country is difficult, all citizens pay military tax and some citizens evade paying taxes, buy villas, Ferrari and Maserati cars.
