Kyiv, September 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine should have no illusions about the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, Research & Branding Group sociologist Yevhen Kopatko has said.

"One should not have illusions, as they have only two formats – membership of the EU and no membership of the EU. Association is a very strong symbolic resource with different opportunities," the expert said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.

He said that today experts have to consider and evaluate the draft Association Agreement seriously, and take into account all of the possible risks.

"Have we evaluated the risks of entry? – No. Experts have to do this. We have a document of 900 pages, which regulates our association with the union," Kopatko said.

"Any movement may entail risks and opportunities," the sociologist said.
