SBU attacks three Russian refineries with drones – source

On Wednesday night, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked three oil refineries on the territory of the Russian Federation with drones, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Last night, the SBU attacked three oil refineries with drones at once - not only in Ryazan, but also in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region) and Kirishi (Leningrad region)," the agency's interlocutor said on Wednesday.

According to him, these attacks are a continuation of a number of special operations against enemy refineries, which were launched earlier by the SBU.

"We are systematically implementing a detailed strategy to reduce the economic potential of the Russian Federation. Our task is to deprive the enemy of resources and reduce the flow of oil money and fuel, which the Russian Federation directs directly to the war, to kill our citizens," the source stressed.

The agency interlocutor added that, judging by the video on social networks, the consequences of the attack on the refinery were quite significant.

At the same time, he clarified that the attacked refineries are among the top five largest plants in the Russian Federation.

Also, according to the source, the SBU, along with other representatives of the Defense Forces, attacked the Russian Air Force airbase in Buturlinovka, Voronezh region, and a military airfield in Voronezh with drones.
