The issue of free navigation in the Black Sea and food security can be resolved at a peace summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference after negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on Friday.

"The inaugural summit, at which one of the points will be exactly the question that you asked. This is the question of food security. It is very strongly connected with free navigation. This is our Black Sea, and we are all very interested in continuing our grain corridor will work," he said.

“Such a decision could be made at the summit meeting. The second thing that is important for us and it is important, it seems to me, for everyone to know that there are not only ports of Odesa. We are also very interested in having our Danube corridor work and expanding this volume,” he said.

“We also really want Mykolaiv to grow economically and begin to live. We expect that the port of Mykolaiv and, accordingly, thousands of jobs will resume their activities,” Zelenskyy said.
