The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the creation of the unified public register of administrative-territorial units and territorial communities and the unified public register of addresses.

As Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on his Telegram channel, the decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.

The decision approved the proposal of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine to implement, within two years, a pilot project to create a unified public register of administrative-territorial units and territorial communities, a unified public register of addresses, a register of buildings and structures as part of the unified public electronic system in the field of construction.

The pilot project is aimed at ensuring the creation, initial filling with data and proper maintenance of the register of administrative-territorial structures, the register of addresses and the register of structures as part of the unified public electronic system in the field of construction in order to increase the level of interoperability of public electronic registers in terms of the use of data on administrative-territorial units and territories of territorial communities, address information, data on buildings, structures and their technical characteristics.
