Interior Minister of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko held a meeting with his Czech counterpart Vít Rakušan, during which the parties signed a declaration on directions of cooperation between the ministries.

"We will continue to implement EU and NATO standards and principles in the activities of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, exchange experience in the field of hybrid threats and cyber security. The Czech side will contribute to the restoration of infrastructure facilities destroyed as a result of the Russian invasion," Klymenko said in the Telegram channel on Friday.

The minister expressed gratitude of the Czech Republic for sheltering Ukrainians and providing Ukraine with considerable assistance.

"There are many successful cases of cooperation: the operation of a mobile passport service in Prague, the service of international delivery of driver's licenses. Last month, the Czech side strengthened the capabilities of the medical service of the National Guard – equipment worth almost EUR 1 million was purchased," he said.

Klymenko emphasized that it is important to support and expand the partnership, as well as unite to bring victory close and restore peace in Europe.
