In February 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved for use by the forces about 60 types of weapons and military equipment (WME) of Ukrainian and foreign production, the ministry's press service said in the Telegram channel.

As Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk explained, in February 2023, some 33 models were put into service. He said that not only the total number of weapons and military equipment approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is growing, but also the number of new weapons of domestic design and production.

According to Havryliuk, among the new models of weapons and military equipment, codified and approved for operation during February 2024, there are several electronic warfare equipment, in particular, the so-called "trench" electronic equipment, which will effectively counter enemy FPV drones.

Six samples of automotive and special equipment and a Ukrainian-made 120-mm mortar were also approved for operation.

In addition, the list of new products for the Ukrainian Armed Forces includes technical demining equipment, dynamic protection elements for armored vehicles and ammunition for UAVs.
