Two policemen were killed and four were injured as a result of enemy artillery fire in Sumy region, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said.

"The investigation team went to document the consequences of the arrivals at the farm building. And at that time, the enemy struck again aiming artillery at law enforcement officers," the minister said on the Telegram channel.

According to him, rescuers recovered the bodies of two policemen from the rubble, and four more investigators were injured. They are receiving medical care.

"The police do not leave civilians even in the most hot spots. They constantly risk their lives by remaining faithful to the oath. And today's tragedy proves that these are not just words," Klymenko added.
