Syrsky, Umerov on front line discuss strengthening individual sections of front

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrsky and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov visited forward command posts in the combat area, where they conducted a detailed analysis of the situation, determining further steps, primarily to protect troops from drones and air strikes KABs, as well as strengthening individual sections of the front.

"Together with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, we visited the forward command posts of military units and subunits in the area of ​​combat operations. We heard from the commanders of military groups about the situation in their areas of responsibility. The enemy regularly storms the positions of our forces. In many directions the situation is complex and requires constant monitoring," Syrsky said in the Telegram channel on Monday.

"We analyzed the current situation in detail and discussed the necessary further steps, primarily protecting troops from drones and air strikes with KABs, as well as strengthening individual sections of the front," he said.

Syrsky and Umerov also talked with the commanders of brigades and individual battalions about the state of affairs on the ground, and analyzed the problems that arise in the brigades. "I drew attention to the importance of coordination and proper operational interaction of all Defense Forces, as well as preserving the lives of our defenders," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized, adding that "to improve the combat effectiveness, sustainability and control of units, he immediately made several decisions on the spot."
